Im 51 and I run trainings for my company. long ones, in conference rooms where the AC is always broken or blasting, never in between. For years the routine was the same: get there polished, feel good for maybe an hour, then somewhere around the 45-minute mark I'd feel the heat crawl up my neck and I'd know. My face would flush, the sweat would bead along my hairline, and my foundation would start doing that thing where it separates and goes shiny in patches. I'd spend the rest of the session trying to angle my face away from the front row and praying nobody could see me melting on the big screen.
The worst part wasn't even the makeup. it was the mental split. Half my brain on the material, half my brain on "how bad do I look right now." I've walked out of important meetings not remembering half of what I said because I was so busy managing my own face.
I bought this after a Facebook group thread where three different women swore by it. Pressed it over my Double Wear before a full-day session, expecting the usual. Two hours in, a flash hit LIKE a real one, the kind that used to end me and I felt it come and go and my makeup didn't move. I checked in the bathroom after and I looked exactly like I did at 8am. I actually stood there for a second. It's the first time in probably four years I got through a presentation thinking about the presentation. That's not a makeup thing, that's a getting-my-brain-back thing.
